The State Budget Positioning Paper is YACWA’s flagship report, outlining our policy and advocacy priorities for the 2020-21 State Budget.
Inspired by youth-led movements around the world, from the School Strikes 4 Climate to the direct action in Hong Kong and the Black Lives Matter movement, this paper offers key recommendations across six focus areas: Inequality and Marginalisation, Welfare and Poverty, Health and Wellbeing, Employment and Education, Youth Voice and Leadership, and a Strong and Sustainable Sector.
