The Youth Affairs Council of WA is pleased to present our 2026-27 Pre-Budget Submission.
This evidence-based document is a result of our research and consultation with young people and sector professionals, and outlines 21 recommendations regarding how the State Government should apportion their funds in the upcoming State budget to best support young people and meet their needs.
The document outlines six priority areas:
- Housing and homelessness
- Family and intimate partner violence (FIPV)
- Mental health
- Youth justice
- Community and advocacy
- Regional and remote communities
