Youth Project Design: Turning ideas into action
Target audience	Young people aged 12 to 25 who are involved in a local group or attend school, and want to establish projects or initiatives that address an issue in their community.
Overview	The Youth Project Design workshop walks young people through the steps and considerations needed when designing an impactful community project or initiative. Young people will learn: Human-Centred Design Principles, and how to design a project that is desirable, feasible and viable How to plan a project, including who they are going to ask for help, how long the project will take, where the project will take place, what barriers they need to address etc. How to deliver an effective pitch to important stakeholders This is workshop is suitable for young people who are interested in making a tangible change in their community, particularly if they are already part of a group such as a Youth Advisory Group or other advocacy group.
