Organisations with limited engagement with young people, such as community groups, volunteer groups who want to get more young people involved in their organisation.

It covers:

1. Motivation: Why young people might be motivated to join a community group or committee
2. Culture: How to develop a more youth-friendly cultural within your community group or committee
3. Communication: How young people can find out about your group and how you communicate once they join
4. Practical considerations you need to address to involve young people such as venue, travel, accessibility etc.

This workshop includes group discussions, a review of case studies and a youth panel with young people who have experience of volunteering on committees or community groups.
