Hong Kong Youth Exchange 2019

The Western Australian Minister for Youth, Hon Peter Tinley MLA, the Department of Communities and the Youth Affairs Council of Western Australia (YACWA) are offering twelve young Western Australians aged between 18 and 25 years the opportunity to participate in an exchange program between Hong Kong and Western Australia in August 2019.

2018 YACWA AGM

YACWA has reviewed it's Constitution to ensure that we're meeting the 'Model Rules'. We recommend reviewing the summary of changes alongside the existing Constitution and the proposed Constitution with Tracked Changes. We will vote and ratify each change at the AGM on the 12th of December.

Annual Sector Summit

On Wednesday October 4 2017, the Youth Educating Peers (YEP) Project and the Youth Affairs Council of WA (YACWA) is holding the first-ever WA youth sexual health sector summit. The 2017 YACWA/YEP 'Every Body, Every Mind' Summit: a WA Youth Sexual Health Sector Event will bring together young people, youth services and the sexual health sector to explore, share and increase understanding and capacity to support WA young people around their youth sexual health needs in an ever-increasing, complex environment.

The Catalyst Youth Summit is an initiative organised by young people for young people. It is open to all young people from refugee or migrant backgrounds aged 18 to 25 living in Western Australia.

WA Youth Awards 2022

The WA Youth Awards were established in 1999 to recognise young Western Australians aged 12 to 25 years for their achievements and contributions to the community. The Awards also reward outstanding youth groups and organisations that serve and support the state’s young people.
